Ruby Baker Selftape Workshop. Filming window Wednesday 17th May - Sunday 21st May!

Ruby Baker will watch your selftape and give feedback on what worked well and crucially some learning objectives. Limited to only 30 places! They will also choose a special mention from the group who will be in with the chance of winning a cash prize every 4 workshops. Subject to the privacy settings on scripts, allowing us to share online.

Important dates:

• A selection of scenes will be sent to actors on Wednesday 17th May by 7pm
• Selftapes must be emailed over to us in unlisted youtube link format by Sunday 21st May at 7pm
• Industry Professional's feedback sent to your email in written, voice note or filmed format on Saturday 27th May at 7pm*

About Ruby Baker :

Ruby is an in-house Casting Director/Assistant for BBC Studios

Ruby began working as an Assistant Director on EastEnders with over  60+ episodes under her belt. Ruby moved over to Casting in 2022. In that short time, Ruby has already been involved in casting many actors' first jobs on  75+ episodes of DOCTORS. Other credits include 14 Episodes of FATHER BROWN, ITV's RIDLEY, VERA, CASUALTY  and the greatly anticipated SPY/MASTER released later this month on HBO.

Her experience spans across Production, Creative and Personal Assisting with credits in roles such as Runner, Assistant Director, Artist Assistant Director, Personal Assistant to Dame Barbara Windsor and June Brown, Production Co-Ordinator, Third Assistant Director, Casting Assistant and Casting Director. During her career she has worked for BBC, ITV and HBO productions and has enjoyed every aspect of it. The experience she has gained getting to know all corners of TV has given me an insight and deep understanding to which she utilises in Casting.
