DisclaimerDISCLAIMER: This competition is that - a competition with scope for actors to learn and develop. It is in no way an audition for an existing or planned role with our industry professional. Please be aware that although not likely, the above dates could change due to any number of circumstances. As the world starts to open, judges are becoming increasingly busier, which is great but may affect the winner announcement date. The compeition is open to actors aged 16 and over. Parental consent must be given for actors under 18 as some scripts may explore topics of maturity. To enter you MUST have purchased a ticket, retweeted or shared our competition post and following @doordiestudios. By entering your self tape you agree to allow us to use this on social media platforms unless stated at the point of purchase. Once a ticket is purchased there will be no refunds under and circumstances - please be aware of the time frame in which the self tapes are being requested. It is also key that actors entering are diverse enough to work with any style script - these scripts can't be changed afterwards. Please be aware that the only material eligible to be submitted into the competition is the scene we provide. Cash will be paid to the winner by online bank transfer within a week of the winner announcement.

Creative Collab FundCreative Collab Fund (CCF) is a new initiative set out to give support to fresh new talent and offer creatives paid opportunities to collaborate. What is it? When life gets moving Do or Die Studios are going to get creatives together and begin to produce short scenes. We will open applications for writers to send duologues and successful writers will be paid from the fund. We will need actors for these scenes who will be cast through self tapes - successful actors will also be paid PLUS they will receive showreel material for free. We will then get a filmmaker/director involved who will also be paid - we want to work closely with filmmaking school students and graduates. We will also ensure industry professional mentors are on hand for any guidance and tips.
