#CastMeComp is a selftape competition judged by industry professionals which allows actors to keep active and learning, writers scribbling, industry professionals seeing new talent and enable us to help charities who are in critical need.
How it works
- The competition is open to all actors over the age of 16 and above with self tape facilities. If you are currently isolating on your own don't worry we don't mind if someone reads in with you virtually.
The competition will cost £8.20 to enter.
To enter you MUST share our social media competition post, follow us on all avalible socials (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and purchase a ticket.
We will send out scripts to all actors. There are four scripts sent out to choose from, these scripts are to be interpritated how you wish - we rarely give suggested age or gender.
The actor with the winning selftape will recieve £500 cash prize plus the winner and top 5 will also receive written feedback from our industry professional judge.
Self tapes MUST be uploaded to Youtube. They must be titled: (Your name) for CastMeComp (eg: John Smith for CastMeComp). Next, you must to send us the YouTube link to access your selftape. This link must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org before the deadline date and time. In your submission email please also include your social media handles. Any tapes received after this deadline won't be entered. Please also upload your selftape to twitter using the hashtag #CastMeComp and tag @doordiestudios.
For any other quires or questions please don't hesitate to contact us on email@example.com - there is no such thing as a silly question!
Some emails may drop into social/promotional/spam/junk folders - please make sure to check these by searching 'CastMeComp (insert judges name)' in your email search bar when expecting emails from us.
This competition is that - a competition with scope for actors to learn and develop. It is in no way an audition for an existing or planned role with our industry professional.
